Travelling in Antarctica is truly an amazing experience. Once you visit the visit continent you will always imagine people are living in Igloo under subzero temperature. But, you can travel and discover Antarctica free with Airbnb.

The rental platform Airbnb has been most recently came into a partnership with Ocean Conservancy to organise this month-long trip. Ocean Conservancy’s aim is to protect the ocean from different global challenges.

Currently, it will offer five people to join its project. All travel expenses, food and accommodation and foods will be provided during the part of the project.
Besides, once you are considering to participate in this project, you have a chance to discover South American continent as well. As, the project will initiate from Chile. You will receive a couple of weeks of training there.
Kirstie Jones-Williams a world-famous Antarctic Scientist is the team leader of the project.
This training will make you well prepare with both physically and mentally to conduct research in a harshcondition in Antarctica. You will also familiar with scientific language, check your gear, meet local partners, and explore the wild Chilean outdoors.
During the third week of your trip you will react at Antarctica and start your researches there. You will spend nearly ten days with long hour work.
You will also visit the South Pole and explore the beauty of Antarctic sites like the Drake Icefall, Charles Peak Windscoop, and Elephant’s Head.
On the fourth week you will return to Chile with other team members and will prepare your findings from the research. You will also have a chance to work with Ocean Conservancy to become ambassadors for protecting the oceans.
However, there is a fixed to deadline to participate. You have to apply before 8th October 2019 in order to participate in the expedition.
