Travellers Can Travel Within Air Bridges Countries

British travellers can finally travel to their favourite countries as government releases air bridges lists for summer 2020.

There are full list of countries that you can go on holiday to and return to England without the need to quarantine now revealed.

People arriving from Spain, France, Italy and Germany will no longer have to quarantine for 14 days.

Currently Spain, Germany and Italy have no quarantine rules on arriving Brits, and France’s is only voluntary.

But, the agreement is one-way only.

This means holidaymakers will longer need to go into forced quarantine when they arrive at their holiday destination.

Announcing the list on Twitter, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps, said: “Air Bridges (international travel corridors) will allow travel to England without 14-day quarantine from 10 July from the countries & territories in this OFFICIAL list I’ve published here.”

Only travellers from England will become part of this exemption. Current status for other regions Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland is still unknown.

As, Scotland is objecting this announcement. Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon brands this process as “shambolic”.

However, Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man are exempt as they are part of the common travel area.

The 14 British Overseas Territories are also exempt from the lists.

This list may be added to over the coming days following further discussions between the UK and international partners.
