Travellers Can Book Their Flights To EU After Brexit

The Brexit or Britain’s exit from EU is the most popular topic in the British politics. Unless, there are no major changes, then Britain is ready to leave EU on 29th October 2019.

But, many of the British tourists are fondly in love with EU, in particularly EU-27 countries. There absolutely nothing to worry about it.

As, EU already announces British travel can travel to any EU countries for up-to 3 months without requiring a visa.

However, if an EU national is seeking to enter in UK they need to apply for a “Settled Status” on their passport. You can find out more information from here.

There are also some suggestion that an EU national can enter in UK without a visa after 2 years of Post-Brexit.

But, they will need to ensure that they must comply with newly imposed immigration rules.

However, many of the frequent British travellers are panic to book their flights to different EU destinations.

Government has assured most recently, flights will operate as normal between EU and UK after Brexit. Regardless, of a deal or no-deal Brexit travels still can book their flights to EU-27 countries for tourism.

As, the Department for Transport (DfT) will extend the UK’s air traffic rights for EU airlines until October 2020.

So, British travellers can book their flights to EU nations. They can travel freely and safely.

According to a statement from Grant Shapps, Secretary of State: “We welcome these proposals from the European Commission to extend arrangements allowing flights and road haulage to continue between the UK and EU after Brexit.”

He also further added, “Connectivity is at the forefront of this government’s vision for a global, outward-facing Britain and these extensions between the UK and EU ensure that it will be business as usual when travelling and trading for the foreseeable future.”

There are currently 160 million passengers travel by air between UK and the EU every year. But, Britain will leave EU it is likely to change soon.
