Downtown Disney District Will Re-Open From July 2020

Disney’s Downtown District or Downtown Disney District will re-open from July 2020.

Downtown Disney is an outdoor shopping centre located at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. It is set to open from July 9, 2020.

Although, Disneyland Resort in Anaheim will remain close for Coronavirus. But, Disney fans can continue to visit Downtown Disney District.

Once Disney’s Downtown District will resume. It will follow health and safety measures based on guidance from health authorities.

For an instance, guidelines from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and appropriate government agencies.

Hotels of the Disneyland Resort will remain close.

While, a visitor is considering to visit Downtown District, will need to ensure:

  1. Limited parking and clearly defined entrances to the Downtown Disney District
  2. Temperature screenings prior to entry
  3. Face coverings are required
  4. Physical distancing measures, including physically-distanced queues and seating, and physical barriers at select locations
  5. Temporary operations modifications, including reduced hours at select locations and the suspension of entertainment offerings and high-touch interactive areas
  6. An increased focus on cleaning and sanitation, including the addition of hand-washing stations and hand sanitizers in key areas

Meanwhile, authorities at Downtown Disney District will provide enhanced cleaning procedures in high-traffic areas such as handrails, benches, tables, handles, restrooms and more.

They will also ensure there are ample of hand sanitizer and hand-washing locations available at all times.

On entrance, visitors will need to undergo temperature and security screening procedure.

Any visitor found to have body temperature of 38 °C or 100.4 °F will face immediate bar to enter into the Downtown Disney District.

Furthermore, staffs may direct visitors to an additional location for re-screening. This procedure will ensure all members staffs and visitors within the Downtown District are safe while they present there.

However, Disneyland Resort in Anaheim will remain shut. As, there are new spiking cases of the outbreak in California.
